Given the situation we are experiencing, we are receiving a lot of advice on how to follow hygiene rules and avoid contagion. From different areas, we are getting recommendations for activities to keep us busy these days. This is essential so that our mental health does not decline. Following routines is essential to stay active and not fall into monotony.
Many people have a fragile mental state that can worsen in this situation, there is greater isolation and neglect. That is why we must continue to get up at the same time as always, shower and have breakfast properly, do household chores and dedicate time to our physical appearance. Do both physical and mental exercise.
Making a daily task plan would be a fundamental activity to not lose the routine, take the opportunity to clean, put memories such as photographs in order, and resume activities abandoned due to lack of time: painting, sewing, reading, cooking, doing crafts or DIY, singing, dancing,…etc, even studying and training. Those things that we couldn’t do before and made us feel good. Write a to-do list.
Also, avoid being silent for a long time, call loved ones and friends that you let fade away a long time ago.
Do not succumb to despair and sadness, look for happy thoughts and focus on them.
