Atlas 2030: Pediatric Robotic Exoskeleton for Child Rehabilitation
FIVAN is the first private healthcare center in the Valencian Community to have the Atlas 2030, a state-of-the-art pediatric exoskeleton designed to improve gait, muscle tone, and functional autonomy in children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor disorders. This technology, developed by Marsi Bionics, is changing the way we approach child neurological rehabilitation.
What is the Atlas 2030?
The Atlas 2030 is a robotic exoskeleton specifically designed for children between 3 and 14 years old. Unlike other devices, this exoskeleton is lightweight, adaptable, and allows for physiological movement, making it easy to use in clinical sessions with complete safety.
It allows for assisted standing and walking movements in children who cannot walk on their own or who have an altered gait due to neurological conditions.
Who is it for?
The Atlas 2030 pediatric exoskeleton is indicated for children with:
- Infantile cerebral palsy (ICP)
- Spinal muscular atrophy
- Spinal cord injury
- Muscular dystrophies
- Other neuromuscular or neurodegenerative diseases
- Severe alterations in postural control and gait
A specialized clinical team evaluates each case beforehand to ensure that safety and efficacy criteria are met.
Benefits of the Atlas 2030 in child neurorehabilitation
The use of the Atlas 2030 in intensive rehabilitation programs provides multiple benefits:
- Improvement of muscle strength and postural control
- Reduction of spasticity
- Stimulation of brain plasticity
- Improvement of gait pattern
- Prevention of complications associated with immobility
- Greater motivation and participation of the child in therapy
In addition, its use facilitates the emotional, social, and family integration of the child by allowing standing experiences that, in many cases, are unprecedented.
How is it applied at FIVAN?
At FIVAN, we use the Atlas 2030 within personalized intensive rehabilitation programs, with 90-minute sessions, 2 to 3 times per week, adapted to the needs and objectives of each patient.
The treatment is carried out by physiotherapists who are experts in robotic technology applied to pediatric neurorehabilitation, guaranteeing a safe, motivating, and clinically effective environment.
Why choose FIVAN for treatment with Atlas 2030?
- We are the first private center in the Valencian Community with this technology.
- We have a multidisciplinary team specialized in child neurorehabilitation.
- We offer a combination of advanced technology and human attention.
