Donning the exopulse mollii suit

The Exopulse Mollii Suit is the first neuromodulation suit that provides benefits through electrostimulation

Neuromodulation is a technique that acts directly on the nerves in order to generate a natural biological response. It is the alteration, or modulation, of nervous activity caused by electrical currents applied directly to the target area.

This neuromodular stimulation is a non-invasive and non-pharmacological technique with limited side effects compared to other known invasive or pharmacological treatments for spasticity and associated pain. It has clinically demonstrated positive effects on range of motion, balance, hand-arm functions, and overall quality of life.

The Exopulse Mollii Suit is used to stimulate the antagonist muscle of a muscle that has spasticity. For example, if the biceps are spastic or tight, the suit is used to stimulate the triceps. Through a natural reflex mechanism, called reciprocal inhibition, the biceps relaxes.
The Exopulse Mollii Suit is a medical product (Class IIa) approved in Europe and that uses low-frequency electrostimulation throughout the body, reducing typical symptoms associated with neurological disorders, reducing spasticity, activating the muscles and relieving chronic pain. It contains 58 embedded and distributed electrodes that allow you to stimulate 40 key muscles in the body.
Numerous studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia, and clinical trials continue in prestigious centers such as the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) or the Mayo Clinic (USA).
